Bologna Children’s Book Fair
I have had the pleasure of participating in the Bologna Children’s Book Fair Illustrators Wall every year since 2020. I have also had the privilege to be the only Pakistani to have entered the Illustrators Wall each year.
2020
My first entry inspired my Mughal Miniature Motifs
2021
My entry for the following year. This time I wanted to replicate a child like drawing that was inspired by my childhood memories and paid homage to one of my favourite cultures, Japan.
My previous entry has also been featured in all the promotional banners for the Illustrators Wall!
2023
I sent my collage style illustration for the 2022 Illustrators Wall. The image here that represented my copyrighted islamic art collage style.
My previous entry made it to the promotional banners for the Illustrators Wall entry pages once again!
2024
I submitted my collage-style illustration for the 2024 Illustrators Wall, featuring the mythical creature Simorgh, inspired by my thesis project on the 'Conference of the Birds.'
